Being a club lodge means we are a non-profit organisation and operate a 'duty' system to keep things running, with tasks being assigned to each guest on arrival. It may be of interest to know that the lodge was in fact originally built by Cosela members and is maintained through a workparty system by the current membership. All the necessary equipment for completing your assigned task and cleaning your room and food storage areas at the end of your stay is provided.
We have a lodge manager on site who is available in the evenings to handle any queries you may have regarding the lodge itself or activities on the mountain. His day job permitting, he will greet you on arrival. The lodge manager also allocates duties and maintains the peace, ensuring guests extend appropriate consideration to one another (eg. the non-smoking policy).
